The service

Bramble is a task and reminder management app that helps you organize your tasks and lists, with optional list-sharing features.

We aim to keep Bramble reliable and available, but we don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the app at any time, with or without notice.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bramble. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You may sign in using Apple, Google, or email.
  • You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping it up to date.
  • You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings > Account > Delete Account).

Your content

  • You retain ownership of the tasks, lists, and other content you create in Bramble ("your content").
  • By using shared list features, you grant the people you share a list with permission to view and edit that content, as controlled by you.
  • You're solely responsible for the content you create and share, including content shared with others through Bramble.
  • You agree not to use Bramble to store or share content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, or violates the rights of others.

Shared lists

  • If you create or join a shared list, other people with access to that list can see and edit the shared content.
  • Only share lists with people you trust. We are not responsible for how other users handle or use content within a shared list.
  • You can leave a shared list or remove members if you're the owner, through the app's settings.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Bramble for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Bramble, other users' accounts, or our systems
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where permitted by law
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the app
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access Bramble without our permission

Intellectual property

  • Bramble, including its name, logo, design, and underlying software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
  • These terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks, branding, or intellectual property beyond what's necessary to use the app as intended.

Third-party services

Bramble relies on third-party services (including Supabase, Apple Sign-In, and Google Sign-In) to operate. Your use of these integrated services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

Termination

  • You may stop using Bramble and delete your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access to Bramble if you violate these terms, engage in harmful behavior, or if we're required to do so by law.
  • Upon termination, your right to use Bramble ends immediately, though certain provisions of these terms (such as intellectual property and liability sections) will continue to apply.

Disclaimer of warranties

Bramble is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Bramble — including loss of data, tasks, or content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (such as liability for intent or gross negligence).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or our practices. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of Bramble after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. If changes are significant, we'll try to notify you within the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
